3 things I learned about chemistry

1) Binary Covalent Nomenclature Compound

steps to write the name of binary covalent compunds.

1st step:
If the first element is more than 2 and a non-metal, indiciate using one of the prefixes.
E.g. N2O3; di--

2nd step:
then put the name of an element.
E.g. N2O3; dinitrogen

3rd step:
Next put the 2nd element using the prefixes.
E.g. dinitrogen tri--

4th step:
Then put the name of 2nd elements.
E.g N2o3 ; dinitrogen trioxide.

2) I learned the roots of non-metal.

E.g.
H - hyd
C - carb
N - nitr
P - phosph
As - arsen

3)There is also a few names of the prefixes for the binary covalent nomenclature.

1 - mon(o)
2 - di
3 - tri
4 - tetr(a)
5 - pent(a)
6 - hex(a)
7 - hept(a)
